Discover Abe Lincoln
Client: Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection
Role: Design & User Experience
The Lincoln Foundation is a premier collection of artifacts from the life and times of Abraham Lincoln. The curators wanted the collection to be as accessible as possible and thus wanted the entire collection to be available online. The collection has a million ways that a user can explore it, including a fun little widget called "Surprise Me" that spins a wheel and displays a random object.

Satellite School Gets Planet-sized Web Site
Client: University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg
Role: Design & Development (Full Drupal CMS install and theme)
This is one of my most ambitious and satisfying projects to date. The design is a breath of fresh air to the design of Pitt's Greensburg campus. The CMS Drupal was used to control content, allowing fine-tuned access and moderation, as well as to allow content to be entered once and automagically distributed to it's proper location on the site (e.g. once entered, faculty show up in all the right places.)

When the University of Pittsburgh decided to throw it's hat into the ring of online classes, I was privileged enough to design and develop the Web site. Because schools continue to add new programs, the site is continually evolving, having recently outgrew it's original design.

Mobile Lab is Science on Wheels!

Role: Design & Development
The Mobile Lab delivers the fun and excitement of science to high schools in the greater Pittsburgh area, and I made sure the design reflected that. Bright colors, a fun font, and an interactive slider helps give the site a playful feel.

“You Will Write Your First Book Here”
Client: University of Pittsburgh's Department of English
Role: Design & Photo Shoot Art Direction
The Creative Writing program wanted to emphasize that with a smaller size came a greater rapport between student and faculty. Everyone was assembled for photo shoots and the smiling faces in the pictures are so genuine that it's heartwarming.
